9 Mukhi Sawar :

Sawar means rider, similarly small Rudraksha bead is riding on the host bead is called Sawar. As per GJSPC Laboratory standards the host bead should show only 9 mukh to be considered as 9 Mukhi Sawar. The mukh/face present on Sawar part is not included in mukh counting of the bead. If the riding bead shows more than 1 mukh/face it will be considered as Garbh-Gauri or Gauri-Shankar depending on the ratio between the host (main bead) & rider.
